The Intifada music label based in Beirut commissioned me to create an animation to represent coming together and resistance in times of war. I chose to use imagery of the traditional dance of Dabke, a dance where the stomping of feet is used to create noise and danced in groups. Noise, music and dance can echo as a form of resistance and uprising!
The looped animation was created through collage and printing digital animation.
